I would tell her that until she is ready to talk about transitioning into coming back home OR at least stay in communication with you, she cannot have anything in the house. When a Teen Runs Away But Always Comes Back: Should Parents Be Worried?

However, some of these runaways are actually thrownaways who are told to leave home or prevented from returning home by the parent.
You can always offer them other options so they can make a better decision. If your teen regrets leaving and comes home, there are a few things to keep in mind so you don’t make the situation worse. Also call all of your child’s friends you know and ask for their help.

I haven't met a teen yet who didn't know of someone's experience of running away. This can be a real problem, considering most teens will glamorize the experience. Under no circumstances should you use derogatory names, labels or titles such as liar, childish, immature, untrustworthy, cruel, stupid, ignorant, punk, thief or brat. Continue to be respectful of your teen, even if they have been disrespectful to you.
Both of you need time to destress from the experience. Make sure your teen gets a hot shower, some clean clothes, and a warm meal. Give them the night to sleep in their bed and recover from running away. You are likely nervous about your teen returning home – and they are probably terrified.
Try to see if you can attend a teen mental health, addiction, or dual diagnosis RTC. Whose mother told me was bad news for my son. I have filed a report every time he misses curfew or just doesn't come home at all. We had him arrested for missing curfew and he had a positive breathalyzer. He has a court date next week he seems concerned about. He has failed 3 of 5 classes in school and refuses to go to summer school.
You need to determine whether there is just a power struggle going on or a deeper problem. Help your teenager develop problem-solving skills. It’s possible there is something about your parenting style that the child is rebelling against. When was the last time you sat down and talked to your child about how they are feeling?
Your child may be charged with a crime, such as trespassing or burglary if they enter a property without permission. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or don’t know how to handle the situation, it’s important to seek professional help. With teenagers, and really adults, we each have our own perspective on the situation, which doesn't always match up with somebody else. Whatever the problem is, screaming or jumping to punishment will probably just make it worse. Give them time clean up, eat and sleep before addressing any issues, as emotions are high for both of you, and they are probably tired, hungry and dirty. When you talk to them let them know how hurt and worried you were.
Encourage them in a way that shows they can face whatever is ahead and explain that being an adult means facing their problems. There are many resources out there that will help your teen if they run away from home. If you’re able to open up a dialogue regarding what they’re going through, it might help them deal with those emotions instead of reacting in an unexpected manner. If your teen does have a case of strong infatuation, try to keep them safe and away from the individual until they are capable of making their own decisions.
We won’t downplay the gravity of the situation, however. Any time a teen runs away, there’s something going on at home that needs attention. If the situation seems like it is declining to the point that your teen will run away no matter what you say, some alternatives can help protect your teen.
