I took my husband to the facility for a respite stay of 6 days. He developed a four inch long bed sore on his bum area on the fifth day. I assume because no one turned him at night. I don't think that he had a BM during the entire stay.

She has a shared room, but it is very nice. It appears that they cater toward each person's needs. A Place for Mom is paid by our participating communities, therefore our service is offered at no charge to families. As you noticed, our culinary team does an amazing job and cooks delicious cuisine.

What sets Silverado apart?
I found Silverado Beverly Place Memory Care Community for my mom, and I think the place is excellent. She is doing much better now that she is there, and she is also eating very well now. The philosophy of the facility fitted her very well. The staff all seemed very dedicated in the three times that I've visited since I moved her there.
They were doing activities, and everybody was participating on a story telling activity. They look like they were really trying with the activities when I went there. But it was still kind of on the dingy side. The staff should greet you as you walk in and ask if you need assistance or have questions.

After completing her Bachelors of Business Administration in Florida, Taylor relocated to California to pursue a career in health care and received her Master of Science in Gerontology from USC. Silverado Hospice Los Angeles has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for hospice and palliative care. Carlos began his career with Silverado Beverly Place in 2015. Along with the rest of the Beverly Place Plant Operations team, his focus is on keep the community clean, smooth running and well maintained.
He uses a condom catheter at night so that he doesn't have to get up. I found the drainage bag uncleaned on three days. I stayed a couple of afternoons with him in the room.
In 2013, Juliet received an offer to join Silverado Hospice as a receptionist, but was soon promoted to handling medical records as a patient care coordinator. This experience provided a unique insight and knowledge of how a Hospice operates, both from the patients’ point of view as well as the administrative point of view. In 2016, when her mother was diagnosed with cancer and was admitted to Silverado Hospice, Juliet became not only her caregiver, but a volunteer as well. As such, she now has personal experience of being on the receiving end of Hospice’s services.
She was home with caregivers and that did not go well at all. She has shown improvement since moving to Silverado. We promise a comfortable, beautiful and luscious living.
